Pedagogeeks showcases teaching through research

The new interview program Pedagogeeks is directed toward university teachers who are interested in knowing more about teaching and learning.

Lotta Jons, educational developer at Stockholm University, will hold four lectures, in Swedish, which last 11-23 minutes.

They include:

  1. Teaching philosophy: Which aspects are involved, which goals can one have with teaching, why should one make clear one’s Teaching philosophy and how is it used in the teaching portfolio?
  2. Learning theory: Biological, psychological, humanistic, socio-cultural and philosophical perspectives on teaching along with literature tips.
  3. To optimize learning: Seven principles to work towards in order to support students’ learning.
  4. The teacher role: Two metaphorical models as well as three philosophical and a professional ethical perspective on how one can think about his/her role as a teacher in higher education.
